C of E

  • Two new coaches have joined the Centres of excellence - Paddy Richards (Hillsboro Boys) and Glenn Ferguson (Linfield FC).

    We will be upgrading both Paddy and Glenn's coaching qualifications over time

  • A review and planning meeting will take place later today to discuss the recent Top OSS Cup and the overall Centres of excellence programme

FITC

  • At the McDonald's football festival on 17 June (which included an appearance by Sir Geoff Hurst), Linfield were represented by boys and girls from Wellington College, Belfast.

    24 Centres provided over 400 children on the day.

  • Darren Murphy will be a guest of Taughmonagh PS on 23/24 June at their prize giving ceremony

  • The mini-soccer centre at Belvoir is continuing and has been extended to run throughout July and August >> more details here

U 10's also won 1st place in a Penalty Kick Competition.

Special thanks to all the parents who also travelled and whose support was superb.

Temperature over the two days was 26 / 27 degrees - very hot and energy sapping with the boys playing 7 games in each age group. 3 on the 1st day and 4 on the 2nd day !!

All Players were outstanding and were excellent ambassadors for both club and country.
