Stramore Youth Club says Thank You to Linfield

Dear Andy,

On behalf of our Youth Club, I would like to thank you, David Chisholm and everyone connected with Linfield for the help they have given us over the past year.  The experience of playing at half time at the Ballymena United match is one which the boys and girls will never forget. 

We now have a strong core of Linfield supporters in our Club, as can be seen by the fact that we had the boys away on Saturday and the one question I kept getting asked is "do you know what the Linfield score at Distillery is ?"

I know that it is asking a lot but could we visit Windsor again to see a match: if possible we would want to see the Portadown game in January, as to us Portadown are more of an "enemy" than Glentoran.

For the home game with Limavady United on Saturday 22 November, Linfield  will be pleased to welcome to Windsor Park as guests of the club,  a group of young people  from Friends Prep. School in Lisburn.

We hope they will enjoy their visit to Windsor Park and we look forward to welcoming similar youth groups to Linfield home games  in the near future.

For the home game with Ballymena United on Saturday 8 November, Linfield  will be pleased to welcome to Windsor Park as guests of the club,   groups of young people from Concorde Youth Centre in North Belfast, Carrickfergus  Elim Youth Club, Woodvale Methodist Girl Guides and Finwood Blues Girls  football team in Taughmonagh, South Belfast  .

The Woodvale Girl Guides  will be returning to Windsor Park later in November to undertake a tour of the Windsor Park stadium.

We hope they will enjoy their visit to Windsor Park and we look forward to  welcoming similar youth groups to Linfield home games  in the near future.
